When a centerpiece has a lot of information, good organization is key good presentation, as seen here on the cover of Thursday's Holland Sentinel. The bike safety story combines several elements into one tightly knit package. The bicycle image at the top of the package is an attention grabber. There are two healthy tips boxes for drivers and cyclist, along with U.S. fatalities and area statistics. With so much content running in confined space, the modular presentation allowed a place for everything. Even with this much information, white space more white space can benefit a package such as this. For example, the main story could jump at the bottom of the second leg to add more space and help readers navigate to the tips boxes. Also, the road illustration at the bottom isn't needed. A large by-the-numbers presentation would have put the emphasis on the information. Still a fine effort and fantastic page!
